PZSE is hiring a PV Structural Reviewer / Designer to support residential and commercial solar projects.

This role focuses on:

• reviewing client-submitted solar projects for structural issues and coordination
• designing rooftop ballasted and ground-mount PV systems
• using PZSE proprietary software for structural and ballast design outputs
• performing high-level review of residential PV electrical plans

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of solar PV design, review, drafting, or engineering support experience
• experience with rooftop PV, ballasted systems, ground-mount systems, or structural review
• ability to review residential PV electrical plans and identify obvious issues
• strong technical judgment, organization, and communication

Preferred

• solar EPC, installer, design firm, or engineering consulting background
• AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Aurora, HelioScope, or similar tools
• NABCEP coursework/certification or other solar-specific training

Additional Details

• PE license not required
• this is not primarily a full electrical design-from-scratch role
• real solar project experience is strongly preferred
