SUNY Empire Innovation Associate/Full Professor - Energy Materials
Applicants are sought for a tenured faculty position in Energy Materials at Binghamton University. The successful candidate will be hired as a SUNY Empire Innovation Associate or Full Professor of Chemistry or Physics and hold a joint title with the Materials Science and Engineering Program. Priority will be given to candidates whose research complements existing strengths in energy storage and who can effectively collaborate with New Energy New York (NENY), a recently awarded $113 million battery development initiative. Applicants should demonstrate a track record of excellent research with extramural funding, leadership and teamwork skills, service to the profession, and the ability to teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students. A PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field is required.
