The Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (Commission), a leading utility regulatory agency, is looking for a talented senior electrical engineer who can make a professional difference in the Nation’s Capital. As a senior engineering professional, you will be deployed on a challenging variety of regulatory oversight projects, including: ongoing monitoring efforts for multi-billion dollar projects of long term electric utility infrastructure upgrades, electric distribution strategic initiatives, as well as distributed energy resource technologies, including energy storage and microgrids.

Licensures, Certifications and Other Requirements
PE license in electrical engineering is required but will consider an applicant with Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, with an intent to obtain PE license in the District within 12 months from date of hire. All applicants with a PE license in a jurisdiction other than the District of Columbia will be required to apply for PE license in DC within 90 days of hire. In any event, applicants will be required to obtain a PE license in DC within 12 months of hire. A valid driver’s license.
