Why Work at BNL? Organizational Overview The Interdisciplinary Science Department performs research to help the Nation meet its exponentially growing energy needs over the next century and beyond. Position Description A student intern position will be available in the Interdisciplinary Science Department, Energy Systems Division this summer. The duration of the position will be three months (from May to August 2021). The student will be expected to work 40 hours per week. Position Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The major responsibility of the student will be the development of control systems and/or optimization algorithms for power grid energy storage systems.
