POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE , Materials Science and Engineering (DMSE) , to join collaborative projects between the group of Professor James LeBeau and the groups of Professors Yet-Ming Chiang and Yang Shao-Horn. Will work in a team consisting of graduate students, Ph.D.-level scientists, and faculty at the intersection between microscopy and energy storage materials science. Responsibilities include applying and developing novel transmission electron microscopy techniques for cathode and electrolyte studies involving in situ and cryogenic conditions; student advising/mentoring; and authoring or coauthoring technical presentations, reports, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED : Ph.D. in electron microscopy, materials science, physical chemistry, physics, or related field; demonstrated experience and interest in scanning transmission electron microscopy (aberration-corrected, spectroscopy) and research focusing on cryogenic and in situ observations; highly effective organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills; and ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
