You will be part of the Strategic Analytics team that shapes UK Credit Cards strategy using data analytics as the key competitive tool. With a portfolio of 10 million customers and £16bn in assets, data driven intelligence is integral to our future growth strategy. You will support UK Credit Card business in delivering "best in class" data delivery and reporting solutions ensuring timely and accurate datamarts and reporting are available to service the business.
What will you be doing?
Supporting the investigation and remediation for complex incidents identified by the business
Developing, leveraging a strong understanding of Barclaycard's data system to understand details of complex data problems develop methodology for remediation of incidents
Identifying and summarizing of any further risks or incidents and risk mitigation strategies
You will be Developing controls for proactive early identification of future incidents
What we're looking for:
Experience in data, BI and analytics in a commercially led environment
A proven ability to engage with commercially focused stakeholders and clearly present the results of data analysis in a way that is easy for others to understand
Significant experience in SAS
Working experience of reporting and visualisation tools, such as Tableau or QlikView
Skills that will help you in the role:
Experience within a financial services organisation or equivalent is preferred
Knowledge of the financial services industry, preferably card and payments industries
Experience in data analytics - particularly in relation to credit cards
Excellent professional communication skills - making oneself understood, sharing information, listening to others Where will you be working?
