The PV STEP Intern, under general supervision, will be responsible for assisting Title III with troubleshooting issues with computer systems and handling inventory. The selected intern will also assist the network administrator for management of lab and Title III department and manage Smart Lab resources like smartboards, laptops, printers, software installation and updates.
Editing, maintaining and updating current Title III web pages.
Consulting with Telecommunication manager in the development of online inventory tracking system.
Developing, designing, producing and coding new web pages for individual Title III activities.
Assisting with the development of the “Virtual Tour of Title III Activities” project
Troubleshooting problems and coordinating with TM in the maintenance of all Title III hardware/software components
Assist in the development of survey questions and coordinate applications of student polls in use of Title III activities/facilities
Providing technical support and instruction to faculty and staff
Required Education and Experience:
Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student during the Spring 2019 semester
Enrolled in at least six (6) graduate or undergraduate semester credit hours during the summer or preregistered at least six (6) undergraduate semester hours or nine (9) graduate semester hours for the upcoming Fall semester
Undergraduate students: Completed 60 hours by the conclusion of Spring 2019
Minimum of 2.5 GPA and be in good academic standing
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Commit to the entire internship experience (10 weeks, 30 hours a week)
