The PV STEP Intern | Procurement and Disbursement | Travel and Expense, under general supervision, will assist Procurement and Disbursement Services with daily operations, travel/credit card related issues, and assist with the review and processing of reimbursements and reconciliations for faculty, staff, students, and guests.
Assist with the reconciliation of procurement and travel card expense reports, while ensuring all coding information is correct
Assist with the preparation invoices and manual vouchers
Assist with the creation of an ongoing file of expenses report violations and ensure appropriate actions are taken when violations occur
Assist with scanning documents into the document imaging system
Assist with file retention and destruction
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student during the Spring 2019 semester
Enrolled in at least six (6) graduate or undergraduate semester credit hours during the summer or preregistered at least six (6) undergraduate semester hours or nine (9) graduate semester hours for the upcoming Fall semester
Undergraduate students: Completed 60 hours by the conclusion of Spring 2019
Minimum of 2.5 GPA and be in good academic standing
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Commit to the entire internship experience (10 weeks, 30 hours a week)
