Energy Systems Manager, Facilities Professional Non-Unit Position The Energy Systems Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of College Energy Management & Building Automation Systems (EMS/BAS) including connectivity to building energy meters, building automation system data points, and Heating/Electric Plant data points. They will also be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from the EMS to provide recommendations and performing program changes to energy controls/equipment in an effort to lower energy consumption and utility cost without affecting occupant comfort. The Energy Services Manager would be a collaborative position providing services to North Shore Community College (NSCC) and Salem State University (SSU). The Manager's time will be split with 60% of time dedicated to NSCC and 40% to SSU. North Shore Community College is the employer for this non-union position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Director of Facilities Management at NSCC and will receive oversight from the Assistant Director of Facilities at SSU. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Assigns, supervises and evaluates the work of consultant engineers, architects and other professional personnel. Additional Information: SALARY RANGE: Anticipated salary is $70,000-$80,000 per year plus fringe benefits. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
