As a member of Questroms Finance & Administration team, this position will administer grants and provide financial management and oversight for all the institutes and special programs housed in or administered by the Questrom School of Business. Currently these include: The Susilo Institute for Ethics in the Global Economy, The Institute to Sustainable Energy, The Institute for Health System Innovation and Policy, Innovate@BU, and the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows program. The range of duties will include: collaborating with Principal Investigators in the preparation of all grant proposals; providing oversight of proposal process to ensure compliance with Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) guidelines and all established Questrom/BU policies and practices; preparing routine and ad hoc reports and analysis in support of budget and expense activities; providing support for payroll actions, expense reimbursements and P-card transactions; as well as monitoring and auditing all account expenditures against budgets and reconciling against the general ledger system.
Must include a cover letter in order to be considered.
B.A./B.S. required. Proficient in MS Office, familiarity with SAP or similar ERP software preferred and one to three years of experience in accounting, auditing or grant administration.
