You will manage assigned projects from start to finish to assist local US companies in doing business with Taiwan. Project depth ranges from assisting small companies with simple sourcing initiatives to working closely with multi-national companies to locate business partners in Taiwan.
Promoting TAITRA’s international trade shows.
Conduct research, ensuring you are up to date on industry trends of different international industries (automobile, green energy, etc.) that are prominent in Taiwan in order to assist you in your outreach initiatives. Your research will be drafted into articles and reports on industries as needed.
You may be assigned to assist in organizing Taiwanese delegations to Chicago or the Midwest as well as other projects assigned periodically by our headquarters
Ability to work independently and creatively manage your own projects.

What are the requirements?
Bachelor’s Degree. A degree in Business, Communications, International Relations or Marketing is preferred, but not required.
Fluency in English required. Mandarin Chinese is a plus, but not required.
Self-starter who is highly motivated to work individually and as a team member in a multi-cultural setting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be eligible for work in the United States.
