As Electrical Engineering Project Manager, you will manage and lead cross-functional teams responsible for complex new electrical infrastructure product development ("NPD") projects that result in the launch of innovative datacenter products. In this role, you will ensure alignment
of infrastructure product and client business goals by developing and driving project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and cocordinating activities within the establishe dprojec timelines and budgets set forth by the managing Technical Program Manager in the new Electrical Product Area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads cross-functional NPD project teams composed of R&D, Engineers, Operations, Quality and Safety.
Responsible for overall coordination of the team, their activities and day to day management of the project and documents progress on appropriate cadence.
Ensures decisions involve the appropriate people and support business and project objectives set forth by the managing Technical Program Manager
Manages project scope and requirements, cost, and develops and drives project schedules.
Develops and executes risk management plan and communications plan.
Skillfully applies and uses the internal NPD process to deliver products to market. Drives continuous NPD process improvement initiatives.
Manages project resources; highlights dynamic issues and manages the activities of internal and external resources in the planning and execution of projects.
Solicits assistance from other functional organizations and negotiates for resources as needed.
Supports Business Reviews and any preliminary or interim reviews related to the project through the reporting Technical Program Manager.
Supports NPD activities set forth by the managing Technical Program
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
6 years of high voltage / medium voltage systems.
Electrical substation design and/or construction experience leading complex projects.
Applied experience in electrical engineering discipline.
Demonstrated capability in project management.
Demonstrated team leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills - verbal & written.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum six years of related experience and/or training.
Prior experience in a supervisory position (direct report responsibilities) required if specific duties include direct report responsibilities.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
