STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Bristol Community College is seeking qualified applicants as part-time instructors with our Mathematics, Science, and Engineering and Green Technology.
These courses may be face-to-face classes (located in Attleboro, Fall River, New Bedford and/or Taunton, or at contracted locations including Martha's Vineyard), online and/or hybrid courses which are offered through eLearning. Courses are held in the day, evenings, and for the weekend college (Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays). Applicants who are qualified to teach in one or more of the following disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Sustainable and Green Energy Technology: (Course Description:
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Dean Mathematics Science and Engineering.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: N/A
All positions require a Master's Degree in Engineering, or a closely related discipline or a minimum of five years of teaching and/or Industrial experience in a related field to the position; and appropriate licensure when applicable; ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to speak a language in addition to English.
POSITION STATUS: MCCC/MTA positions.
SALARY: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience and consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
