Custodial Worker – Under general supervision of the housekeeping Manager performs daily custodial tasks in all Marion Campus buildings; operates commercial cleaning equipment to maintain interior and surrounding exterior areas of all campus buildings; maintains a working knowledge and understanding of Marion Campus Cleaning Policies and Procedures Guide; proper usage of floor equipment and cleaning chemicals’ energy conservation measures; emergency evacuation procedures; OSHA and university specified safety practices; may work alone or with the campus housekeeping team; assists with snow and ice removal; set-ups and tear-downs; interacts with campus faculty, staff, students, and visitors with a positive attitude; reports vandalism and safety issues. Subject to emergency call in.
