The first 6 months include learning and understanding the industry and existing relationships as well as managing prospective account leads in collaboration with Senior Consultants. The Consultant will be mentored by Senior Consultants and attend green building/energy efficiency trainings. After 3 months the Consultant is responsible for carrying one project from start to completion with the assistance of a Senior Consultant. After 6 months or prior, depending on experience, Consultant is responsible for managing all projects for one client account. After one year or prior, depending on experience, the Consultant is responsible for managing a full client base and campaign for new business. The Consultant must develop relationships with local utilities, trade partners, and trade associations. Consulting includes California Title 24 Energy compliance, MEP Engineering, HERS inspections & testing, and optional green programs for residential SF, Low Rise and High Rise development projects.
Nurture client relationships
Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Salesforce or any CRM
Manage timelines for deliverables
Work with regulatory agencies
Prepare and manage consulting projections and reporting
Attend occasional events and functions during and after work hours
Client training and education concerning related fields
Desired Skills & Experience (preferred but not required)
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Environmental Sciences, Architecture, Construction Administration or related field.
Three (3) years experience in the construction field (HVAC, green building or energy efficiency preferred)
Relevant consulting experience
LEED Green Associate (GA) or Accredited Professional (AP) or any type of green building or energy efficiency accolades or certification
Experience managing client relationships
Possess first class oral & written communication skills
Strong written and verbal presentation skills
Have an entrepreneurial spirit, and be able to work independently, Self-motivated, organizational skills,
Ability to conduct research, learn new technologies, and communicate findings orally or in writing
Strong in person presentation skills

This is a position which will work from an Office and will require travel within Northern California, attending client meetings, trainings, and events. The Consultant will report to the Regional Vice President and collaborate with team members daily. The hours are 8am to 5pm, some overtime may be required.
