1. Serve as the Facilities Operations Lead Advanced Tech on retro commissioning. 2. Meet with the Facilities Operations Retro Commissioning Manager to discuss, plan and recommend retro commissioning projects. 3. Assist in the coordination of all retro commissioning schedules and needs with Facilities Retro Commissioning Manager and Facilities Engineering. 4. Assist in recommendations and develop long range planning for retro commissioning. 5. Demonstrate working knowledge of BAS / HVAC systems and facility utility systems (steam, chilled water, etc.), and of distributed generation and chiller/heating water plants. 6. Lead in calibrations on process and test instrumentation, maintenance and operations work, monitor projects, timelines, deadlines and costs related to Retro Commissioning. 7. Comply with applicable standards, practices, and regulations within Facilities Operations.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Graduation from a technical college with an Associate degree in electromechanical technology or instrumentation technology and a four years’ experience related to the area of assignment experience; or an equivalent combination of training and directly related experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
1. Graduation from a technical college with an Associate degree in electromechanical technology or instrumentation technology and four years’ experience related to the area of assignment experience; or an equivalent combination of training and directly related experience. 2. Bachelor's degree in a engineering technology discipline related to the area of assignment is preferred. 3. Three to five years’ of direct commissioning experience from an engineering firm and/or mechanical contractor preferred. 4. Five years’ of combined experience in testing and balancing T.A.B. and Controls experience preferred. 5. Performance experience of NEBB (National Environmental Balancing Bureau) retro-commissioning reports and audits is a plus. 6. One year of experience for reviewing architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans, drawings and specifications for energy-efficiency improvement opportunities. 7. One year experience in conducting assessments, field investigations, troubleshooting, testing, calibration, and operational optimization of HVAC and controls systems. 8. Knowledge and skill in a broad range of engineering disciplines. 9. Experience in coordinating with outside contractors, vendors, suppliers and building occupants. 10. Knowledge and skill with Google Applications and advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.. 11. Ability to effectively communicate the English language (reading, writing, interpretation and comprehension) required. 12. Effective skills in verbal, written and interpersonal communications. 13. Ability to effectively work/interact with persons from different backgrounds and cultures. 14. Ability to foster and create an atmosphere of teamwork. 15.
