The PV S.T.E.P. Intern, under general supervision of the Director, will assist the School of Architecture with the marketing and recruiting of students to the program.
Coordinating with the Graduate School for incoming applications
PV Internal Marketing efforts ? identifying JR/SR PV students around campus and letting them know about the program
Recruiting Database development (physical addresses and email addresses)
Information SEMINAR SET UP - Identifying mid-size to large organizations in the greater Houston area where information sessions on our program could be set
Information request Follow up ? replying to and setting up follow up calls for the Director on information request
Required Education and Experience:
Three to six months of experience working teens.
Three to six month working in a professional environment.
Currently enrolled for at least nine (9) graduate or six (6) undergraduate semester credit hours
Minimum 2.5 GPA; Must be in academic good standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college
Students must have completed 60 undergraduate hours by the conclusion of the Spring 2018 semester.
Registered for classes in Fall 2018
Graduate students must be enrolled in at least three (3) graduate hours, preferably in his/her field of study
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to complete tasks
Written & Verbal communication
Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift occasionally
Registrations, Certifications, and Licenses:
Commit to working the entire internship experience (30 hours per week)
300-500 word synopsis regarding the student?s interest in the program
Be registered for classes in Fall 2018
Be eligible to work in the U.S.
