We are looking for experienced and certified solar installers to expand our existing installation crews. Qualified candidates can think fast in the field, adjust for unforeseen changes, and relay information quickly to the office project manager.
All installers are responsible for performing all tasks, including carry block, cleaning up, and helping keep each other safe while working.
Our primary project sites are located throughout NJ with occasional work in other states. Overnight stays may be required for several days at a time.
This is a tough job but it is rewarding and we promote from within and there is room for advancement. We work all year round, provided the conditions are safe.
COMPENSATION depends on basic construction and electrical experience, certification level, and years of solar experience. Benefit options include medical, 401(k) and paid time off upon successful completion of introductory period.
Candidates must have:
Ability to carry 50lbs
Experience working on Flat Roof and Pitched Roof (Shingle and Standing Seam)
A valid driver's license
Personal hand tools (hammer, screwdrivers, ratchets, etc) - Power tools are provided.
Additional skills requested:
Experience using a PV Analyzer to diagnose array issues
Experience troubleshooting inverters (Central and string)
Experience reading and interpreting Code books (NEC, IBC, IFC, etc)
Ability to plan ahead and request material before it is needed
