The PV S.T.E.P. Intern, under general supervision, will assist the MSC Complex (Housing) and Residence Life to develop in-house marketing of the departments utilizing creative processes, assisting students and effectively communicating with a diverse staff on departmental projects.
Conducting Orientation Power Point presentations
Performing office administrative actions
Assisting with other duties as required
Required Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled for at least nine (9) graduate or six (6) undergraduate semester credit hours
Minimum 2.5 GPA; Must be in academic good standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college
Students must have completed 60 undergraduate hours by the conclusion of the Spring 2018 semester.
Registered for classes in Fall 2018
Graduate students must be enrolled in at least three (3) graduate hours, preferably in his/her field of study
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to multi-task and organize
Ability to conduct presentations
Strong decision making ability
Microsoft Suite (Work, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
Customer Service oriented
Registrations, Certifications, and Licenses:
Commit to working the entire internship experience (30 hours per week)
300-500 word synopsis regarding the student?s interest in the program
Be registered for classes in Fall 2018
Be eligible to work in the U.S.
