Responsibilities will include operation of the department clean room, provide support for research activities involving the use of clean room facilities, and teaching and supervision of students on the fabrication of basic electronic devices, such as solar cells. He/She will also be required to teach additional courses in design, entrepreneurship, and professional practice, as needed.
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned masters and/or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
A PhD in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred but candidates with master degree are also eligible.
Candidate with material growth (such as MBE and/or MOCVD) and device fabrication experience are preferred.
Candidate should have electrical and mechanical experience on the operation and maintenance of microelectronics fabrication equipment as well as hazardous materials training.
